Relationship with Industry, Medical Attitudes, and Conflicts of Interest
摘要
Conflicts of interest (COI) resulting from interactions with pharmaceutical-device companies is pervasive in medicine and can result in an undue influence on physicians’ decision-making. Many different factors are involved in determining these dynamics, including medical interests, scientific research, ethical features, and economic-financial purposes. There is an increasing focus on transparency in the relationships between the industry and physicians worldwide because such financial interactions can bias healthcare choices.
