In every aid relationship, an empathic and re-assuring welcome is fundamental, and even more so in sexology. It is not easy for a person or a couple to decide to go to a sexological consultation. The shame, the chasteness, the anxiety of revealing one’s intimacy and admitting one’s sexual difficulties are only some aspects that make it difficult to decide to ask for a sexological consultation. Perhaps it is even more difficult to reveal a sexual disorder during a visit or a check-up in the various fields of medicine. In gynaecology, it is extremely important to have a particular competence and attention with everything that has to do with intimacy. In this way, it will be possible to facilitate the admission of sexual disorders, accept them and deal with  them.
