Conventional agricultural practices frequently lead to poor circumstances in rural communities, a decline in food production and a loss of soil quality. Farmers’ livelihoods and profits are seriously threatened by inefficient resource usage, pest infestations and erratic weather. This study investigates how the internet of things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) can revolutionize agriculture in the twenty-first century. AI-driven weather forecasting reduces the possibility of crop damage from pests by giving farmers hyper-local real-time insights that help them decide when to sow and harvest furthermore. AI systems are now able to forecast insect outbreaks by utilizing environmental sensor data and satellite photos. IoT and data analytics are combined in precision agriculture to maximize resource use and boost productivity when used under the supervision and expertise of experts.
