This chapter expands the analysis from the crisp comparative design in the previous chapter to include Sweden, the small neo-corporatist Low Countries and the US. Each of these additional cases sheds light on aspects of our argument that were impossible to engage in the MDSD design in Chapter 3 , and both confirms and refines our argument.
