The Emergence of Generative AI: Navigating Short-Term Viability and Long-Term Sustainability in Human-AI Partnerships
摘要
Human Language is the most powerful technology humans have ever created—it forms the foundation of human civilization (Harari, 2014). Language began as a tool for survival and communication in small groups. It allowed early humans to share information, solve problems, and build trust. Over time, language became the foundation for mass cooperation, as it enabled people to create and share stories and myths. These narratives allowed humans to organize themselves into larger groups by establishing shared values, beliefs, and norms, forming the beginnings of culture (Tomasello, 2019). Through this, humans were able to create information networks that preserved and passed down knowledge over generations, making cooperation on a massive scale possible (Harari, 2014).
