This chapter will analyse the Unionist submissions of each county for the Irish Boundary Commission of 1925, then look at the importance of the 1925 local elections as the end of Unionist politics in these counties. This will be followed with the Boundary Commission Report, with interpretations from Geoffrey Hand and Paul Murray of Feetham’s judgement on the commission. The chapter concludes with the aftermath of the commission for the Protestant community.
