Cognitive functions are sharp and contribute to human well-being. Maintaining and enhancing cognitive functions can improve mental agility, productivity, and overall quality of life. Cognitive functions include attention, working memory, perception, reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making. These are essential for daily activities and overall mental health. In this research, we performed a comparative evaluation of various machine-learning techniques to investigate the connection between attention and working memory. These results indicate that working memory capacity is solely related to attention. Working memory cannot function effectively without proper attention, which affects daily life. These findings contribute to our understanding of how these cognitive functions interact and may have implications for developing interventions to enhance cognitive performance.
