Latin American Violence: Framing a Social Context
摘要
Latin America is the name used to identify several countries that share geographical, cultural, linguistic and historical characteristics in a specific topographical area, stretching from the Rio Grande to Patagonia. Latin America represents a space with a common geopolitical and socio-cultural symbolic universe. The chapter analises the idea of violence as a social relation and an expression of rupture of communitas in the Latin American context.
