User-Centered Design in Big Data: A Case Study of the Antonieta De Barros Platform
摘要
The adoption of big data platforms has been a strategy used in digital transformation in governments as a way to integrate data and promote more qualified access to information. In this context, the design process of the Antonieta de Barros Platform is presented, and the impact of the application of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) practices in these systems is demonstrated. The research was conducted based on User-Centered Design (UCD), with a qualitative-quantitative approach. The study used Nielsen’s Heuristics and the System Usability Scale (SUS) as ways to obtain data. The results point to the relevance of quality of use criteria for design choices, for the positive perception in the user experience (score 80) and how their adoption favors governance and transparency.
