This extended abstract presents an ongoing Research through Design (RtD) project focused on the development of RedePro, a digital platform conceived as a hub for promoting circular design in the region of São Carlos, State of São Paulo, Brazil. The platform aims to strengthen local value chains by connecting creative agents, local industries, suppliers, and makerspaces. In addition to mapping local production resources, it offers a repository of open design files and a section for sharing best practices in circular design. The research highlights the participatory strategies to be used in the design process and RedePro’s role as a sociotechnical infrastructure aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including responsible consumption, inclusive innovation, and partnerships for the goals. This development illustrates how RtD can generate knowledge through the making of situated interventions that can enable more sustainable futures.

摘要
