When working with complex 3D models, task resumption becomes challenging after an interruption due to difficulty in recalling the context. To address this, we present three resumption aids: screenshots with audio, video-only, and a combination of audio and video. In a comparative evaluation (N = 32), participants performed tasks with interruptions and resumed them using the assigned aid or a baseline aid. Findings show that the aids facilitate task recovery and assist in recalling compared to when the aids were not directly referenced. Participants preferred a combination of audio/video and audio with screenshots. These results highlight the effectiveness of audio-anchored cues in aiding task resumption and summarization for complex 3D model-based tasks.

摘要
