Player Experience Evaluation in Digital Games: A Multidimensional Model
摘要
Player experience in digital games has become a significant research field due to its influence on people’s emotional, cognitive, and social aspects. Understanding the interactions between players and games is essential for developing compelling experiences, whether in entertainment, education, therapy, or training. This paper presents the development and application of a questionnaire to evaluate player experience through seven dimensions: satisfaction, learning, effectiveness, immersion, motivation, emotion, and socialization. The study was conducted during a User Experience in Digital Games course, evaluating independent games developed in a short production cycle. The goal is to contribute to the evolution of the field of player experience studies, integrating theoretical foundations for evaluating this experience in digital games.
