How to Avoid and Manage Acquired Conduction Disorders After TAVI
摘要
Nowadays, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is considered a valid alternative to surgery among a broad spectrum of patients with different risk profiles. However, despite the increasing adoption of technological refinements that have led to a progressive reduction of complications, conduction disturbances still represent a limitation after TAVI and their incidence continues to remains high with minimal reduction. In this chapter, we analyse the epidemiology and mechanism of conduction disturbances in TAVI recipients and offer strategies for their management.
