Design of the STRAUBEL Filter in Circular Aperture and Its Application on Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope (CLSM)
摘要
A new model of the STRAUBEL filter in circular aperture is suggested. We computed the point spread function (PSF) corresponding to the STRAUBEL aperture and compared it with the corresponding PSF for circular and quadratic apertures. The cut-off spatial frequency, which represents the resolution, is deduced from the PSF. The STRAUBEL aperture corresponding to the objective and collector lenses in the CLSM using microscopic input images is shown. Reconstructed images using the CLSM provided with different apertures. The significance of the work lies in the novelty of the STRAUBEL aperture.
