A Holistic Review of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship
摘要
Recently, there has been growing scholarly interest in sustainable entrepreneurship (SE), particularly in the context of advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set for 2030. This study aims to perform a bibliometric analysis of the academic literature on SE. Drawing on data extracted from the WoS database, the research provides a detailed overview of the intellectual landscape within the field. The bibliometric methodology involves analyzing publications from 1900 to 2025, utilizing tools such as VOSviewer, Bibexcel, SPSS, and Datawrapper. By mapping key elements—such as influential articles, prominent authors, leading journals, and major research themes—this study contributes to the existing body of knowledge on SE. It identifies thirteen research clusters using Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) and four through Hierarchical Cluster Analysis (HCA), offering insights into potential directions for future research. The most significant themes in this field include sustainability-oriented innovation, dynamic capabilities, sustainability, and the redefinition of traditional entrepreneurial paradigms. Lastly, the research presents theoretical contributions, acknowledges the current study’s limitations, and recommends directions for further exploration.
