This chapter examines ethics of care as a distinctive approach to moral theory. In contrast to prior ethical frameworks, ethics of care emphasizes the relationships and the use of a personal approach in dealing with ethical situations. The use of ethics of care in engineering and how to develop the capacity to care will be discussed.
