The paper addresses the finite-time homogeneous observers design problem for linear systems. The stability conditions are formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities being less conservative in comparison with other works. The proposed stability analysis relies on the homogeneity property and the implicit Lyapunov function method. The proposed approach can be further developed for a number of other homogeneous applications with similar sector nonlinearities.
