Mixing T-reactors with two exocentric inputs are widely used for the production of solid nanoparticles in solution. However, under certain hydrodynamic conditions a change of liquid-vapor phases can be observed which significantly affects the production of nanoparticles. In order to master the manufacturing process, we propose a new experimental setup for measurement of particle size and bubbles in situ based on the light scattering method. We test the reliability of this new prototype and demonstrate its advances compared to the initial device.

摘要

Mixing T-reactors with two exocentric inputs are widely used for the production of solid nanoparticles in solution. However, under certain hydrodynamic conditions a change of liquid-vapor phases can be observed which significantly affects the production of nanoparticles. In order to master the manufacturing process, we propose a new experimental setup for measurement of particle size and bubbles in situ based on the light scattering method. We test the reliability of this new prototype and demonstrate its advances compared to the initial device.
