QR code payment systems are increasingly integrated into mobile banking and financial transactions, yet comprehensive bibliometric analyses on their adoption remain limited. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to examine QR code adoption, focusing on research trends, key contributing countries and institutions, predominant document types, and emerging themes. A bibliometric approach was applied using Scopus data and VOSviewer software for citation, co-citation, and keyword analysis. QR code research has demonstrated steady growth, with a significant surge during the COVID-19 pandemic due to its role in facilitating contactless payments. The United States, Malaysia, and China have emerged as leading contributors, with growing engagement from Indonesia, India, and Taiwan. Journal articles and conference papers constitute most publications, while books and review articles remain underrepresented, highlighting a gap in theoretical synthesis and long-term adoption studies.

摘要
