摘要

As the aviation industry grapples with the implementation of flexible work arrangements in its notoriously inflexible operational architecture, it finds itself at a pivotal juncture. Nowhere has such a transformation been so sharp as in the Middle Eastern aviation sector, where cultural elements provide an additional dimension for workplace change. We have undertaken an in-depth examination of the Royal Airline of Jordan from the perspective of its flexible work arrangements to ascertain the consequential impact it had on team collaboration in such a precision-driven industry where coordination is the fulcrum of success. Based on in-depth field studies, we also explore the nuanced nature of the link between emerging flexible work models and team dynamics, further cementing their significance in the broader economy.
