Despite enterprises’ increasing reliance on the internet and technology, a significant gap exists in understanding how user behavior impacts cybersecurity. This issue is crucial as many security breaches are often due to user errors, underscoring the need for enhanced security training to strengthen cybersecurity protocols. The goal is to conduct a bibliometric study on cybersecurity behavior to examine academic contributions and identify under-researched areas, particularly focusing on user behavior. The bibliometric analysis revealed an upward trend in cybersecurity behavior research over the last 12 years, marked by initial steady growth, a significant increase, and recent variability. The study pinpointed leading contributors and noted a preference for disseminating findings through peer-reviewed articles and conference papers. Keyword analysis showed that discussions in cybersecurity are closely linked to behavioral and psychological elements.
