Evolving Paradigms in Personal Health Record Systems: A Comprehensive Bibliometric Review
摘要
The study highlights the increasing importance of Personal Health Record (PHR) systems in healthcare and the challenges associated with their acceptance, adoption, interoperability, data security, and user engagement. Through bibliometric analysis, it examines publication trends, key contributors, document types, and dominant research themes. Data from Scopus, analyzed using VOSviewer, identified relevant publications. Citation, co-citation, and keyword analyses helped uncover influential studies and emerging research priorities. PHR research peaked in 2011, fluctuated over the years, resurged in 2023, and declined in 2024. The U.S. leads in research contributions, followed by China, with notable input from Australia, Canada, India, and other emerging nations. Articles and conference papers dominate the field, while reviews and book chapters remain limited. Keyword analysis strongly focuses on security, interoperability, and patient-centric care.
