With concern toSubramanian Arulmani globalSambandam Anandan changesVeeraswamy Davamani, energy has emerged as a considerable focus of the scientific community and world power needs. Lacking energy resources and environmental crises have driven us to explore cleaner energy storage devices like supercapacitors. Among various materials, conducting polymers are proposing unique chemistry in the supercapacitors that significantly enrich to design of multiple structures and functions. Further, scrutinizing the essential utilities by associating structure-function relationships in conducting polymer-based composites reveals the structural parameters and interfaces that govern the supercapacitors’ achievements. This chapter aims to exploit the synthesis and synergism of the nanostructured conducting polymers with their support materials during their composite formation. It also emphasizes the progress and diverse support constructions for effective electrochemical exploitation of supercapacitor applications.
