This paper intends to explore the core aspect of virtual reality (VR) models in facilitating the teaching process. The literature review utilized articles that are peer-reviewed and referred to, including journals, chapters, proceedings, and books, in the pertinent topic of discussion. The discovery indicated that the role of AR in supporting the instructional process pertains to enhancing specific contributions that aid in improving the planning, processes, and practices within educational environments. The greater detail of the primary finding highlights two essential components, specifically improving AR to assist the instructional process and enabling AR through digital-based design for educational instruction. The purpose of this paper is to improve the crucial aspect of aiding the teaching process, from theoretical foundations to practical application methods, in order to bolster the support system for instruction and education. The findings of this study suggest the necessity to enhance the ongoing display in overseeing the planning combined with the active implementation to aid in improving the learning instruction to become more appealing and effective in reaching the intended objective.
