Distances Related to Water Flow
摘要
In studies of various areas of knowledge, in addition to the topography represented in the DEM and the layout of the drainage network, there is interest in computing distances related to the flow of water in a watershed. This chapter explores the computation of these distances, including Euclidean and flow-path distances to streams, outlets, and headwaters, with real-world examples and didactic explanations about interpreting the results.
