The concept of circular economy refers to creating a closed-loop system where the resources will be reused, refurbished, and recycled, while the linear economy pattern usually has the resources being created, modified, and disposed. The “circular economy” (CE) model has been considered as a direct solution to address the fundamental cause of problems, such as unending demand of resources, repercussions of climate change, and the related environment destruction. The intent of the circular economy model is accomplished by following its principles, which have been designed with a core aspect to reduce waste, as well as to utilize available raw materials to the maximum possible extent. It is important to note that the framework of circular economy is technology centric, and its execution translates into economic gains. In view of the same, the model has received acceptance in a variety of sectors, which has resulted in the expansion of the library, discussing the implementation of the CE model in a particular field of application.
