Constructs and Metrics of Consumer Happiness
摘要
We begin this chapter by defining three concepts: hedonic consumer happiness, eudaimonic consumer happiness, and consumer happiness (overall). We then describe various models and corresponding metrics of consumer happiness. These include cost of living, consumption equity, consumer complaints, shopping satisfaction, material possessions satisfaction, acquisition/possession satisfaction, consumer/product life cycle, community satisfaction, need satisfaction, bottom-up spillover, and top-down spillover. We then try to classify consumer happiness metrics using two dimensions, namely objective versus subjective indicators and input versus output indicators.
