With Bengaluru experiencing historic shortages of water, worsened through growing urbanization, climate change, and inadequate water management, the requirement for freshwater-saving solutions in residential settings has never been stronger. This study focuses at the present situation of water use in Bengaluru households, including knowledge levels, existing technologies for conserving water, and people’s willingness to engage in more sustainable water use. We collect data on consumption trends, conservation initiatives, and hurdles to the adoption of water efficient devices using a standardized questionnaire sent to diverse residential communities.
