This study explores the critical balance between innovation and cybersecurity in knowledge management (KM), leading to original insights on how organizations can secure digital assets, such as data, without negatively affecting creativity. The study explored a comprehensive literature review method to synthesize existing peer-reviewed academic sources focusing on organizational culture, Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration, and strategic cybersecurity initiatives. The findings outlined a well-integrated cybersecurity and innovative KM system supported by AI that facilitates knowledge sharing and improves organizational performance and innovative freedom. The study’s original values lie in presenting a nuanced framework outlining cybersecurity as stimuli or enabling a secure KM system that balances knowledge security and innovation.
