Visual and aesthetic aspects are a key factor in achieving the aesthetic image of urban areas. The paper seeks to establish a framework for developing and improving the visual aspects of the urban areas in the Kingdome of Bahrain. This framework examines the negative and positive interventions in the city and the visual pollution that results from these interventions. In this context, the research framework has been concluded from the theoretical study and case studies, the research was conducted based on the opinions of a sample of women in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The framework is established by defining goals and a vision that defines the ideal visual environment for the urban community, while enhancing visual identity, reducing visual pollution, and supporting cultural character. Furthermore, the current situation will be analyzed through a field survey, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and analyzing users’ opinions. Then, the visual environment's themes will be developed, such as signage, murals, architectural elements, color identity, and lighting. This will be followed by concluding of a framework for architectural and graphic designers, issuing technical requirements for building permits, and developing a policy to regulate signage and advertising. Finally, municipal and community agencies should be involved in dividing labor among the various commercial areas, with mechanisms for monitoring and performance evaluation, along with tools for measuring visual and aesthetic impact.
