This study examines the impact of financial technology integration on the the performance of Indian private and public sector banks between 2015 and 2024. The results of quantitative techniques, such as regression analysis on data from 33 banks, show that on-site ATMs lower ROA while mobile banking increases profitability. While NEFT transactions have a beneficial impact on stock returns, digital banking technologies like mobile payments encourage risk-taking, particularly in private banks. Because they are more agile and subject to fewer regulations, private sector banks gain more from the use of FinTech. The report advances knowledge of digital transformation in the banking industry by offering practical insights for banks, investors, and policymakers.
