Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the entrepreneurial landscape in various ways around the globe therefore this paper investigates the relationship between the AI acceptance and the Entrepreneurial Intentions (EI) of students at higher education institutions with the mediating effect of Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy (ESE). The study applies the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to introduce a conceptual framework that assesses the impact of Perceived Usefulness of AI (PU) and the Perceived Ease of Use of AI (PEOU) on EI through the mediation of ESE. Since it is essential to recognize the influence of acceptance of AI on students’ entrepreneurial intentions in order to promote innovation and support the upcoming generation of entrepreneurs especially with AI's increasing significance in entrepreneurial ecosystem, this study provides insights on the impact of perceptions of AI acceptance on entrepreneurial behavior by incorporating ESE as a mediator in this relationship while the proposed conceptual framework aims to direct future empirical studies and enhance the comprehension of the ways in which factors related to AI and self-efficacy affect entrepreneurial intentions.

摘要
