Behavioral Intention to Adopt Jan Aushadhi Services in India: A Technology Acceptance Model Approach
摘要
This study is to explore adoption of Jan Aushadhi services in India by utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The research investigates the relationship between “perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness (PU), and attitude (ATT) in predicting Behaviour Intention (BEH.INT) in usuage of Jan Aushadhi services. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis revealed significant findings: PEOU positively influences PU (β = 0.31, p < 0.001) and ATT (β = 0.46, p < 0.001), while PU positively impacts ATT (β = 0.36, p < 0.001). ATT strongly predicts BEH. The INT (β = 0.72, p < 0.001) further confirms its key role in promoting the behavior of adoption. Demographic analysis revealed that most respondents were male (73.4%), aged from 18 to 34 years old (57.7%), and had at least a bachelor degree (86.3%) Additionally, 75% of participants reported using Jan Aushadhi services previously, and 47.9% said they used technology frequently for healthcare needs. It is needed to provide improved user-friendly platforms, generate awareness on adoption of Jan Aushadhi services. Further research should investigate longitudinal impacts, and use innovative technologies to understand adoption patterns over time.
