Bosch Circular economy activities range from reusing products and their components to repairs and to remanufacturing, in each case with the objective of extending product and component life cycles. This chapter provides an overview of the Bosch Pilot (Pilot 1) and describe the product itself including lifetime and repair models and gives examples how eco-design can apply to the product. Starting with the outputs from the partner ideas and design are created to improve the environmental footprint of the product.
