This chapter synthesizes emerging issues for AgeTech in palliative care, emphasizing the shift toward real-world application post-COVID-19. Core themes involve ethical governance (beneficence, autonomy, and justice) and accountability in AI-driven decisions, which must avoid bias and ensure safety. Future directions point to enhanced communication, remote monitoring, and improved care coordination via technology. Furthermore, we discuss the rising influence of Digital Legacy, Generative AI avatars, and virtual funerals. These technological developments necessitate new policy, research, and careful consideration of the environmental impact of data storage.

摘要
