The work includes a study of the vehicle’s braking system and describes theoretical methods for calculating brake system loads. Advantages and disadvantages of the subject of research are shown. Analysis of the dynamics of vehicles and their friction subsystems - braking mechanisms was carried out. Information channels are installed for analysis of frequency processes passing between friction surfaces of vehicle braking mechanism at different types of braking. This makes it possible to identify various stages of friction processes on brake mechanism and to form data bank. Based on the analysis of the data bank, threshold values for identifying tribological processes are established, followed by training of the active security system.
