Improving Economic Sustainability through ESG Practices: A Study of Southeast European Countries
摘要
ESG practices are key factors for improving economic sustainability despite the many challenges countries face. The study reflects the impact of Environmental, Social and Governance practices on improving economic sustainability. Data for the countries of Southeastern Europe cover the period from 2010 to 2022, and statistical analyses of regression, correlation and unit root tests such as Levin-Lin-Chu, Fisher and Pasaran-Shin were used to analyze the stationarity of the data. The results show that indicators such as government effectiveness, carbon dioxide emissions, economic and social justice performance, and renewable energy use have a significant impact on sustainable economic growth and demonstrate their importance in promoting long-term development for the region.
