The architectural and cultural qualities of the Chinese Peranakan traditional houses in Kampung Tirok Terengganu are investigated in this research along with its importance as a tourism educational tool. The research emphasises the need of these traditional houses in promoting cultural awareness and appreciation among visitors and students equally as globalisation and urban growth undermine the maintenance of distinctive cultural identities. Employing a qualitative methodology, consists of case studies stressing successful educational initiatives based on Kampung Tirok Chinese Peranakan legacy as well as interviews with local historians, tourist educators, and community people. The results show that tourism education finds a rich setting in the unique architectural features, historical narratives, and cultural practices connected with the traditional Peranakan dwellings. The research finds chances to improve tourism courses, support experiential learning, and promote sustainable tourist practices by integrating these cultural assets into educational systems. Moreover, it highlights the possibility of community involvement in tourism education where local knowledge and cultural pride may guide and motivate next generations of travel agents. Ultimately, the finding from this study seeks to add to the conversation on cultural preservation and tourism education by supporting a paradigm that fits educational programs with the advancement of cultural legacy. The aims are to show how the Chinese Peranakan traditional houses in Kampung Tirok may enhance tourism education by means of their architectural and cultural characteristics, therefore promoting more respect of cultural variety and sustainability in the travel business.
