Indonesia holds the greatest Islamic community globally. This is an opportunity for halal-based industries. However, the management of the halal industry is still not optimal. This study aims to examine the influence of spiritual leadership on the implementation of halal supply chains and financial performance in food and beverage MSMEs. Halal orientation is also tested as moderation. Questionnaires were sent directly to 400 owners and managers of food and beverage MSMEs in Pekanbaru City and Kampar Regency. A total of 216 data were processed using SEM-PLS analysis. The test results show that spiritual leadership exhibits zero direct impact on financial performance. The test results show that spiritual leadership influences the halal supply chain, and the halal supply chain influences financial performance. The test results also show that the Halal supply chain bridges the connection between spiritual leadership and financial result. Halal orientation has been proven to moderate the influence of spiritual leadership by implementing halal supply chains. The research results show that halal guarantees are important to support the financial performance of Food and Beverage MSMEs. Therefore, government support is needed to help with halal certification of food and beverage MSMEs.
