Ablation of Liver Tumors in Difficult Locations
摘要
Ablation of primary and metastatic liver tumors is a well-established locoregional treatment option. In most cases, ablation of liver tumors is straightforward with little to no anatomic constraints. Treatment of subcapsular, dome, and perihilar tumors can be difficult due to challenges in targeting lesions as well as the risk of mechanical or nontarget injury during treatment. This chapter will discuss techniques to mitigate the risks of ablation of liver lesions in difficult locations.
