This paper presents a comprehensive review of the transformation in cloud-based data analytics through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). It highlights our key contributions: (1) a comparative analysis of traditional and AI-driven data analytics methods in cloud environments based on performance metrics such as speed, scalability, accuracy, and real-time capability; (2) an evaluation of core AI technologies including machine learning, deep learning, and automated data processing; and (3) a discussion of current challenges and emerging directions such as explainable AI, edge computing, federated learning, and green AI. By synthesizing recent advancements and benchmarking methodologies using relevant datasets, this work provides actionable insights into how AI enhances cloud analytics, automates decision-making, and supports scalable, intelligent systems across industries.
