Introduction
摘要
This chapter is an introduction to this volume, which aims to look at how COVID-19 is linked to healthcare and international migration in some Middle Eastern contexts. The investigated case studies are presented, challenging the idea of migrants as mere victims of the pandemic, as their active role and contribution in dealing with the health crisis is highlighted. The link between the pandemic, migrants and refugees and socio-economic and political implications in the MENA region comes to the fore, and the authors discuss their adopted encompassing perspectives, exploring strategies at the micro, meso and macro levels.
