Community Education and Professionalism
摘要
The concept of professionalism is often not contested. But what does this actually mean and it is always good? For example, who gets to decide what is professional and what is not, and who gets access to professional programs and who does not? Moreover, does the label of a professional always translate into decent terms and conditions of employment? These are just some of the themes this chapter explores in the context of adult and community education work.
