A Multidimensional Approach to E-Waste with Challenges and Strategies for Effective Sustainable Waste Management
摘要
Solid wastes are becoming an environmental problem with the development of humanity. This waste problem is growing even more in direct proportion to the results of population growth, urbanization, and industrialization. Wastes can consist of many materials and sectors. Wastes formed in many areas from urban agricultural materials to multilayered plastics and from electronic devices to industrial solid wastes are becoming the main problems of countries. As a result of the rapid increase in population, production and consumption are increasing as the industry develops. Although the increase in production seems positive, the inability to dispose of consumed products is turning into environmental pollution and a growing problem. However, the fact that the increase in consumption rate is depleting our limited natural resources and the inability to replace our diminishing resources is giving a dangerous alarm for all countries. Each country needs to evaluate this problem in its own way, contribute, and make an emergency plan. Otherwise, we may face a serious problem when our resources are depleted. Understanding the importance of the situation, making this importance known to the whole society, ensuring that the necessary precautions are taken, and determining strategies in this regard, is a very essential issue for all societies.
