Conclusion
摘要
In this book, we explored the design of embodied Human-Data Interactions, i.e. installations that facilitate exploration and sense-making of large sets of data through embodied control. Because HDI is a relatively recent sub-field in Interaction Design, however, there are still many exciting opportunities (and challenges) for research in the field. For instance, the research and projects described herein largely predate the widespread availability of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), in particular, Large Language Models (LLMs). Therefore, we want to conclude this book with a forward-looking perspective. We will identify key open challenges, explore promising research directions, and examine how AI can be harnessed to create even more intuitive, engaging, and meaningful embodied HDI experiences.
