An Intelligent Based Approach for Conformance Testing of IoT Implementations Within a Distributed Cloud Environment
摘要
The rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) has introduced various challenges to the successful implementation within IT infrastructures. In particular, although IoT-based applications offer significant potential for increasing productivity and reducing costs, we can observe that cloud computing faces latency concerns when delivering IoT-based services. It is therefore essential to reassess current compliance testing frameworks in the cloud, taking into account the challenges of coordination that arise when data is processed using IoT-based applications In light of the above, we propose a novel architecture for compliance testing of cloud-based IoT implementations. The approach consists of deploying simultaneous testers to assess the compliance of the distributed implementation with the specification. To achieve this, the testing process should facilitate coordination between the various distributed components in order to identify defects. The main contribution of this work is the proposal of a new architecture that integrates AI with the fog layer, enabling the monitoring and optimization of the overall testing workflow in the distributed Cloud environment.
