Environmental Monitoring System in Health Care Units with Real-Time Data Integration Using IOT and Cloud Computing
摘要
Environmental elements including temperature, humidity, gas concentrations, and possible fire threats are critical to maintaining patient safety in healthcare facilities. This paper presents an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system that uses sensors such as the DHT22 for temperature and humidity, a gas sensor, and a flame sensor to monitor these conditions in real-time. A NodeMCU (ESP8266) is used to gather the data, which is then processed with the Arduino IDE and transmitted to an Excel file via PLX-DAQ for initial CSV file storage. This enables basic data inspection prior to additional processing. After that, the data is combined via Talend, converted, and kept in a MySQL database on a WampServer. Lastly, real-time dashboards with data visualization are created using Power BI. Furthermore, Blynk notifies medical experts instantly when it detects crucial conditions, such fire dangers. By enhancing healthcare personnel's ability to remotely monitor hospital environments, this technology improves response efficiency and safety.
