The year 2024 signifies the tenth year of my research on China–Africa higher education cooperation, starting with my initial fieldwork with African students in China. Ten years are short, and ten years are long; it is long enough to make any improvement that we have urged to see a long time ago, and it is still too short to solve all the issues we hope to solve for tomorrow.
