Libraries Support for the Entrepreneurs
摘要
This chapter examines the multifaceted ways in which academic and public libraries contribute to entrepreneurship ecosystems. Drawing on diverse case studies—including the University of Toronto, Baker Library at Harvard, the Toronto Reference Library (TRL), and public libraries supported by the American Library Association’s Libraries Build Business program—it illustrates how libraries offer research assistance, digital literacy training, consultation services, and collaborative partnerships with external organizations. The chapter highlights how the strategic use of digital tools, specialized resources, and networked collaborations is expanding the capacity of libraries to foster entrepreneurial learning, innovation, and community engagement.
