Integrating Product, Process, and Organization Perspectives for Building Circular Manufacturing Systems

This paper presents a comprehensive framework for developing circular manufacturing systems, integrating product, process, and organizational perspectives in a holistic manner. The framework is applied in four case studies to identify potential areas for improvement and the key requirements for companies transitioning to circular manufacturing. By drawing on real-world industry applications, this paper provides valuable insights into the literature, highlighting the interconnected role of product design, manufacturing processes, and organizational strategies in the implementation of circular manufacturing systems.
